Thank You

Thank you all for your kind words and encouragement. It’s very exciting and very humbling at the same time. I’m very grateful.

Most of you I’ve met on Twitter. Never in a million years would I have believed that my life could be so tremendously enriched by people who talk to each other in spurts of 140 characters or less—via the internet, no less. What a gift it’s been.

2009 promises to be a very challenging year full of possibilites. I can’t wait to experience it with you.

  1. Thanks, Steve.

I am going to check into this later this morning. I have certainly enjoyed your blog. I’m fascinated with what is going on in South Africa and your dialogue with the Emerging church. Keep it going! Congratulations on your Two Year Anniversary. Looking forward to many more.

    Warm regards,
    Gail

  2. Now you need to hook up to Blog Catalog and/or MyBlogLog so that not only can you see who has commented, but who has visited as well!

  3. I’m excited too about the truths that you will share with us

  4. It sounds like you very well may have invented the Blizzard. I think you need to contact DQ right away and get a piece of the action!

Or, you know, at least a couple of free coupons. :)

  5. @Amy Beth,

When I lived in Oak Ridge there was no such thing as Chic-Fil-A. We did have a Dairy Queen, though. I invented the chocolate-chip milk shake there—take a vanilla milk shake, add some of the chocolate for the dipped cone, and blend. Abracadabra, you had a chocolate chip milk shake. (Maybe it was the Blizzard I invented and never knew it.)

  6. Also — just saw you grew up in Oak Ridge… I’m from Karns! Attended middle school and high school there — we went to the Chick-Fil-A in Oak Ridge quite a bit. :)

  7. Gail, I’m SO excited you’re blogging! I can’t wait to read!
